I have a brother profile 551 and ribber kr 551 I watch several tutorial however my machine does not have a connector arm which means I have to move the knitting carriage L to r then the ribber carriage. l to r Now i did not use the machine for years due to i thought it was missing the part. now i would like to use it. my problem is my yarn keep getting caught on the fence what am i doing wrong.

You must have the connection (sinker plate) to be able to use the machine with the ribber.
