End Needle Selection

To make seaming easier (and have neater edges), when knitting in pattern, it's often best not to "pattern" the end needles. In other words, you may not want to tuck or slip the very edge needles. Some knitting machines have a method to automatically cancel the end needle selection. The Brother 970 works a bit differenly.
