Consider: End Needle Selection

When knitting in pattern, it's important to pay attention to end needle selection.
Plan your stitch repeats so there are no out of work needles at the very edge of your knitting.
Also keep the edges of your knitting neat (and make seaming easier) by setting your machine so the end needles don't tuck.
