Archive of Thread: Sesia Batik Yarn Back

I'm working on the "Mauve Cardigan (V Neck)".  I'm using Sesia Batik yarn - basically cotton with a strand of polymide in it.   Not well twisted.  Anyway, I did my swatch - hand washed, and air dried.
When I made the 1st front - it was HUGE!  but, I hand washed and dried, and it is close to my swatch.
I wanted to do a full fashioned decrease - but while knitting, I forgot!  (Brain freeze!).
I would like to re-knit it......
I could just rip and re-knit and see what happens.  But, 
Am I being too hopeful that on the re-knit it will work out to the current swatch size....
Thanks for any insight.....   (I won't be buying anymore Batik!!!)
