Easy knitting, easy construction, comfy fit. This waist length shrug style cardigan is fun to knit.
Knit the sleeves top down or cuff up .. your choice
There are no hems, edges are ruffled with the sewing machine or serger.
This can be a make-it-in-a-weekend project.

  • Choose a lightweight yarn
  • Shape the front edge to cross over
  • "Ruffle" the edges with a serger or zig zags
  • Cropped length for a youthful look
  • 3/4 dropped shoulder sleeve style (or make them any length)
NOTE: Because the fronts are designed to be tied (they can also hang open and drape) this sweater is best knit in a lightweight yarn.
