The EC1 Pattern controller is used to knit stitch patterns on the Silver Reed SK 830/840/860/890 machines.(tuck, slip, fairisle, etc)
Unlike Brother machines, this series of Silver Reed machines do not have built-in electronics and rely on external devices for patterning.
The EC1 uses Mylar Sheets for stitch patterns.
