Design copied from a photo of a Cornish fisherman's jumper, dated 1872. Fisherman's traditional jumpers known as a gansy, knit-frock or guernsey. I copied the patterning to a punchcard then knitted with the help of my wonderful G-carriage. I knitted the rib with the G-carriage as well.
