the fairisle was a different tension to the main yarn. The tension stated is for the purple wool. the fawn was very similar but separate calculations were made for each colour. A comfortable pattern for my hubby who likes to layer warm shirts under his pullovers.! The fairsile is on the front only as he wants an easy way to recognise the front of the jumper. The fairisle was done with the pattern controller on the singer midguage.
