10:18:10 From Cynthia Price : you have a pattern in the files with a lace pattern in the center
10:18:11 From saintesprit Marie-Jo to All panelists : I finished my sideway pullover last week, but the photo I took is not good enough to be sent !!!
10:18:36 From Alison Traynor : Your great..dont worry
10:18:43 From saintesprit Marie-Jo to All panelists : I will, sure, I will !!!
10:18:48 From Cynthia Price : i don't know if my photo was posted.
10:18:55 From Ken : Can you have people chat to all attendees? We can't see all of the chats.
10:19:28 From Cindy M to All panelists : Thinking of the sweater with tuck in a center panel, could you do some short rows of tuck to add length that way? Is it possible?
10:20:47 From Jenny : As a new subscriber I am too busy exploring all the KIN site to get any knitting done!
10:21:10 From Dawn : Need 7 sts by 11 rows, but have only been able to achieve 7 sts by 9 rows...
10:21:10 From Mary Ann : Then you need to knit a separate panel to add the patterned center.
10:21:28 From Cindy M to All panelists : So you are knitting the sections separately with different gauge for each accordingly.
10:21:35 From Carolyn Johnson : when doing the swatches, I assume I need to do a tuck swatch for each tuck pattern I want to use???
10:22:11 From CaraL : I was taught sts are the main tension, rows are the yarn mast, Dawn. Might that help?
10:22:26 From nancy mangeri : if you make the larger sized swatches you can use the swatches to make small cut and sew items.
10:22:45 From Dawn : yes
10:23:20 From CaraL : Nancy M, that's sometimes what I do, too.
10:23:34 From Dawn : thanks
10:23:51 From Cindy M to All panelists : Gotcha! thx
10:24:45 From Dawn : Carla, will try that on a additional swatch, thanks!
10:25:09 From Cynthia Price : i have found a pattern in your free patterns but i forget the name of it. it has the panel up the front that is in a different Pattern
10:25:20 From junehess : On a panel sweater, would sew as you go work or do I need to do a seam?
10:26:56 From CaraL : Yes, that's so true, a lot of playing. Also sometimes just how tightly the yarn is balled makes a difference. So re-balling might help. Sue is right.
10:26:58 From nancy mangeri : junehess, it has to be seamed because the row gauges are different.
10:28:35 From Cindy M to All panelists : Oh, I like the exposed seams!
10:28:39 From Annie Lindsay : The unblocked swatch you showed earlier, had some slight rowing out. What causes that?
10:30:28 From Annie Lindsay : Yes
10:30:46 From Ken : When you block a swatch, do you just steam it or do you pin it down first?
10:31:09 From nancy mangeri : we need to think of swatching as Research and Development.
10:31:17 From Cynthia Price : could we do a class on the T- sweaater we saw. i know i would enjoy it and hopefully others would as well. it would really be a learning experience
10:31:40 From CaraL : HaHa, that's really good Nancy. I like that.
10:31:51 From Annie Lindsay : Tension spring
10:31:54 From Carolyn Johnson : R&D it is@
10:32:04 From Terry : like that too
10:32:26 From Hanne : take up spring
10:32:31 From Terry to All panelists : I have 2 standard machines... Toyota and Silver Reed. Swatches are different using the same tension and guage..
10:32:34 From Annie Lindsay : yes
10:35:30 From nancy mangeri : I made the panel t and would enjoy a kal or class as I need to make a new one in another sizep
10:36:30 From Ken : Definetly interested in the DAK info.
10:36:38 From erinh : I would
10:36:48 From Mary Ann : DAK information YES
10:36:52 From junehess : Yes, definitely.
10:36:53 From Annie Lindsay : Yes. Ibm intimidated by my electronics.
10:37:03 From florence levy : Yes, I would love to see it. I have an 860 and a 560 with the link and DAK so I would love to see what youbre doing.
10:37:08 From Marilyn to All panelists : I use an SK 840 with Dak. Definitely interested I Dak "stuff"
10:37:10 From paires to All panelists : What yarn are you using on your SK860?
10:37:12 From Carolyn Johnson : Have 4 machines (Silver Reed) and all are electronic and DAK. Love to have classes on that.
10:37:26 From Alison Traynor : Your breaking up
10:37:34 From Marelda : I have that the 860, Silverlink 5 and DAK and would love learning more.
10:40:36 From Alison Traynor : Very interested in DAK
10:40:57 From CaraL : The new links are way faster than old serial port ones.
10:41:37 From Carolyn Johnson : Tamm Nordic is great for mid gauge
10:41:52 From Ken : Charlene from the Knit Knack shop has some great DAK training material. She is great with DAK.
10:42:44 From Carolyn Johnson : Think Christmas stockings with Tamm
10:43:40 From junehess : How drastic difference is there in stitch gauge with difference colors of the same yarn?
10:44:48 From nancy mangeri : it is a slight but can mess you up, white and black seem to be the most drastic
10:45:12 From CaraL : Great show, no worries with outline. Love Zoom. THANKS!!
10:45:19 From Cynthia Price : It was a great and educational program worts and all. thanks so much to you and Matt
