D M
can brother accessories be used with these new machines? i
Cherie S
Do they use punchcards?
Maurie H
Thanks
Marjorie M
Do the Taitexmas "thiink" Brother, or Silver Reed or their own ?
Jacquie F
Thanks so much Sue and Matt!
Maurie H
Do they work the same as the Brother or the Silver Reed
Lyn R
Thanks for great info, as usual.
Marjorie M

Congrats Sue thus a lovely extension if your patterns and great presentation of how to use these patterns
Matthew F
its live! LOL
Matthew F
the interactive information is amazing on them also
Nancy M
is the back in intarsia?
Patricia J S
I split both front and back 3 ways. More seams, but, can be very decorative
Catherine G
ooh, that sounds interesting Cynthia!
Cynthia D
You can "marry" two LK-150. use DK yarn. Makes wide and better weight cardigans.
Cherie S
Using blocks of color will make the seams less noticable.
Nancy M
I've done worm trim over ugly seams. .tada ugly gone
Gabriele T
Really good idea Sue!
Gabriele T
Maybe with a sew-as-you-go seam when you knit the bottom part?
Nancy M
could a larger. tension in u knitting add that extra flutter
Cherie S
Would also be cute as a maternity top!
Jacqueline O
This is great. I love it. Thank you fir showing the options.
Nancy M
godets are a great pattern feature...contrast colors, a little bit of a texture pattern stitching.
Morag W
If you put in hand knitting in your search there are lots of tutorials
Corrine
Thank you Darlene , if you ever do any hand knitting tutorials please let me know. Many thanks .
Dawn W
Thanks Eleanor, that makes a lot of sense!
Nancy M
don't forget about the tension dial on the yarn antenna
Eleanor L
I always felt tension dial on ribber is 2 numbers less than main bed because usually in hand knitting we usually knit ribbeing 2 needles smaller than main knitting
Catherine G
The dial only has C for the ribber
Joke L
No I'm sorry, haven't tried that yet
Catherine G
Joke L: have you tried slipping on your SK840 with the ribber attached?
Nancy M
also play with having that end needle at the u on the ribber instead of the main bed
Catherine G
THANK YOU SUE!!
Gabriele T
Thank you Patricia, but it is so hard to see if the stiches are the same size. But there will be no way around it
Marjorie M
My manual on the SK280 for "U" knitting their way the ribber needs to be 2 numbers different that the Min Bed.
Patricia H
Gabriele T gauge both machines, you will have to adjust Tension and no you cannot do auto patterns but can hand manipulation
Joke L
I have the SK 840
Ritta K
do you get "ladders" when you knit U.
Catherine G
Does anyone have an electronic Silver Reed machine? the SK840 has removed the side levers, so it's hard to do U knitting. I don't have this problem on my punchcard machine
Corrine
What I mean is you are talking about machine knitting will you be covering knitting by hand with two knitting needles
Joke L
I have tried this, but I found out that the swatch for both beds is different at the same number
Marjorie M
But with "U" knitting you can't pattern on both beds. Can you?
Gabriele T
With U-shape knitting I never get the same gauge in frontbed and backbed, any suggestions pleasi?
Cherie S
Are there any tips to help prevent blanket edges from rolling? I've blocked and I'm crocheting the edges. So far, I've found crocheting one round from the back side and then the second round from the right side is helping. Just wondering if there is something I can do while knitting to reduce the curl.
Ruth S
I might be "H" from Waterdown, ON
