Cochenille Garment Designer
This pattern making program allows you to create patterns for both sewing and knitting. It includes libraries of ready-to-wear body measurements, or you can input your own measurements to create a more custom fit. While you work, you can see the shape of your body (the sloper) sitting inside the pattern you are building.
Cochenille Stitch PainterDesign your own stitch patterns with this fabulous grid-based design tool is specifically geared to the needs of textile and craft designers of all sorts and we made it so user-friendly.

Sue J I'll ask |
Maryann B Susan and I were members of MKGSFBA along with a woman named Helen in the mid 80's. Helen wrote a knitting program on the Atari which Susan helped her to port to the Mackintosh, PC and the Atari. I cannot remember Helen's last name and Susan may be the last person to answer that question. |
Sara B What about ribbed welts etc if part of the garment? |
Sue J I'll ask @susan b |
Susan B Are there any updates since I bought the program several years ago? |
Sue J @pauline - yes it is different. all of them produce knitting patterns, just different ways of approaching it |
Sue J Susan is offering 10% off all of her products |
