. . It is August, and it's warm,. and we're starting to think about fall. . knitting here in our part of the world.. So welcome.. . I hope you're excited about this as well.. . We're going to talk about. demystifying automatic paterning.. . There's something to do with automatic. paterning that machine knitters and people. . in general think that our knitting. machines just are magical,. . and you just throw the yarn. at the machine and stuff happens.. . And for a For machine knitters,. I think a lot of us get a little bogged. . down with, number one, what do. I do to make paterning happen?. . And maybe. you don't feel like you don't have. . the knowledge or the skills to try. some different stitch pattern.. . And that's one of the things that our. machines do the best is automatic pattern.. . And when I talk about automatic pattern. machines, I'm talking about machines. . with punch cards, machines. with electronics, mylar,. . perhaps, even buttons.. . There are buttons machines that we just. push the buttons in and they. . choose needles for you.. . We'll talk a little bit. more about that in a minute.. . We've got lots of folks here.. . I won't take time to welcome everybody,. but I will welcome you individually.. . But thank you for joining me.. . Before we get started,. I want to tell you that if you are. . an LK knitter or if you have a machine. that does not have automatic patterning,. . again, punch card, electronics,. mylar buttons,. . stick with me, please,. because understanding how patterning works. . on your knitting machines. is really, really important.. . It's more than just what buttons. to push, what levers to push.. . Someone contacted me not too long ago,. and she said, Well, you didn't tell me. . which part button to push or whatever.. . And it's like,. all the machines are different,. . and it's up to you to learn how it works.. . And And the key to learning how it works. is understanding what's. . happening with our machines.. . And that's the goal today,. is to help you understand what's happening. . when you say, I want to knit and tuck,. or when you say,. . I want to knit in fair-isle,. or any of the other stitch patterns. . that we have available to us.. . It's understanding what's going. on with those needles in relation to your. . carriage settings so that you. get the results that you want.. . Back to LK.. . So LK knitters, you choose. your needles yourself, right?. . You make your choices of which. stitches are going to knit how.. . And this is just one extra step that you. have that an automatic pattern person,. . machine person doesn't have.. . However, they've got all the other. steps of setting their machine up.. . So you've got four levers to deal with.. . Simple, easy.. . It's again, understanding what's going on.. . Speaking of LK and Design a Knit,. Design a Knit is a powerful software. . that can help us with our. automatic patterning machines.. . It can help us design. stitch patterns on screen.. . I think about my Knitting machine,. and it's the is the machine. . with the little CB1 box,. and it's got this teeny tiny little. . screen, and you're supposed to click. an on/off button or a black/white button. . and create all your patterns in this. teeny, teeny, teeny little screen.. . Design and it gets away from all of that,. especially the , at least. . has a little bitty screen.. . They're like the Brother . doesn't have a screen at all.. . And your Silver Reed machines is really. the only way that you can use them, the. . electronic machines, is with Designinit.. . So I wanted to announce that we have. a brand new course, LK and Designinit.. . If you've ever wondered,. do I need Designinit?. . Number one, that's a good question.. . We have a whole blog post on that.. . The number two is, can I use. it with my knitting machine?. . And absolutely.. . The answer is, no matter what machine. you have, you can use design a knit.. . And the only difference is you won't be. downloading stitch patterns. . electronically to your machine.. . You have a little plastic knitting. machine, and it doesn't have any. . electronics built in, but you can still. use it for creating stitch patterns.. . That's what we're talking about here. today is creating stitch patterns.. . Okay, buttons and levers and dials.. . Oh, my.. . Lions and tigers and bears,. isn't that how that goes?. . Oh, my.. . Every machine is a little bit different,. and it's up to you to use your manual. . and learn what it is you have to do to. create the stitch patterns that you want.. . If you want to knit & Tuck,. or you want to knit in fair-isle,. . or you want to do any of the wonderful. stitch patterns that we have available,. . lace even, you have to understand how to. communicate with your machine.. . That's what we're going to talk about. today, is communicating with your machine.. . I already talked about this a little bit,. manual versus automatic paterning.. . On a manual machine,. you're using your needle pusher,. . or you're using a needle beetle or just. your fingers to select needles. . to make something happen.. . On an automatic patterning machine,. your machine should be smart enough. . to know know what to do. to choose to select needles.. . So you can just automatically pass your. carriage across and the correct needles. . will be selected and your stitch patterns. were formed if you have. . everything set correctly.. . Let's talk a little bit about terminology.. . Again, I had someone recently say to me,. well, your instructions say,. . set my machine for partial knitting.. . I don't know what that means.. . Okay, let's establish what that means.. . Skip, slip.. . Skip and slip are terms that refer to you. literally skipping some needles as you're. . knitting across the knitting machine.. . When you're working in skip or slip. stitch, which that also came up,. . someone said is skip and slip the same.. . Yes, just different terms.. . When you knit in slip,. your carriage will pass across,. . the working yarn will pass under. the needles that are being selected.. . And you get those little. It floats on the back.. . We'll show a little bit. of slip here in a minute.. . Tuck is the same thing where you're not. knitting specific needles and the yarn is. . passing over the needle and creating a. bridge, a little bit.. . The yarns, those floats, are going to be. caught up later in a different way.. . Hold partial knitting,. basically the same thing, and ferrile.. . So I got really frustrated when this. person said, Well, you told me to set it. . for partial knitting, and I don't have. a partial knitting setting on my machine.. . Well,. that's part of our own personal education. . is to learn what these terms mean.. . Let me go to the desktop here.. . She didn't know what partial knitting. meant, so I reminded her. . that we have our glossary.. . We can go to the glossary,. go to Partial Knitting here,. . and there's an explanation of partial. knitting here, along. . with a couple of videos.. . If you don't know what skip is,. for example, we can also just go to our. . glossary and go to skip, slip,. and it gives you a definition.. . So I want to remind. everybody that this is here.. . If I use a term today or any other time. that you don't understand,. . please try the glossary first.. . What there's entries in there.. . The glossary started as an abbreviation's. . reference because of C-O-L, C-O-L.. . R, carriage on the left,. carriage on the right, all those. . crazy machine knitting abbreviations.. . That's how the glossary started.. . It has obviously grown. from that to over .. . So if I use a term or you run across. a term that you don't know, please,. . please, please check the glossary,. and it should be there.. . And if not, let me know,. and we'll make sure that it gets added.. . So let's get past the terminology,. not only the terminology of machine. . knitting, but how about. the terminology on your machine?. . Machine, it's really important for you to. understand what the different terms are.. . In all, there are three things. that impact stitch patterns.. . No matter what machine you're. using, there's three steps.. . I call them the puzzle pieces. because they all fit together.. . Without one of these puzzle pieces,. you're not going to get. . the results that you want.. . So the first thing that we need,. the first puzzle piece has to do. . with whether you're using punch card. or electronics, or a manual machine.. . No matter what machine you're using,. the key is understanding that what are. . we telling the machine we're doing?. . We're telling the machine to do something. different than it normally does.. . If you think about when we knit in stock. in it, we just knit in plain knitting.. . We've got needles pulled out,. and the butts of those needles will pass. . underneath that carriage in channels,. just like on this little LK here.. . I'm showing this machine. because it's simple.. . You can really, really. see the channels easily.. . But all machines have these channels.. . So if your needles are all the way out. of work, all the way back in A position,. . they're going to go straight through that. carriage and nothing's going to happen.. . And I'm sure you've watched your machine. as you're knitting because needles come. . out, they grab the hooks,. grab the working yarn,. . the needles pull back and form a stitch or. not, depending on what. . you're trying to do.. . So you need to understand. that controlling stitch patterning starts. . with where the buts. of the needles are traveling.. . So the first thing is to give. your machine some instructions.. . Whether it's punch card or electronics,. or even by manually pulling stitches,. . you need to give your. machine some instructions.. . You need your first thing you want to do. is tell your machine, Hey,. . I want to knit in pattern.. . You want to give it some instructions,. whether it's a card, or you're pulling. . the needles yourself, or it's electronics.. . You're going to see. the machine needs to have instructions.. . Hey, I want to do something, right?. . So the next thing, again,. the first thing you want to do is give it. . instructions, whether it's. electronic instructions,. . whether it's paper instructions,. whether it's manual instructions.. . And you need to say,. Hey, machine, wake up.. . I want to knit in pattern.. . First instruction,. I want to knit in pattern.. . For brother machines, that means you're. going to engage your change knob.. . That's the little round knob,. excuse me, little round knob. . at the top of your carriage.. . On Silver Singer Studio machines,. you've got your little side levers.. . Think about those side levers as directing. traffic, directing the needlebutts through. . the channels of the carriage so. . that they knit the way you want them to.. . On Toyota, you've got. something called card levers.. . I think they're one and two.. . I'm not real familiar with Toyota. machines, but you need to identify what is. . it that you're saying to the machine,. Hey, hey, hey, wake up.. . I want to knit in pattern.. . Your second thing that makes for stitch. paterning are the needle position.. . Positions.. . Now, this works on automatic patterned. machines behind the scenes a little bit,. . and your manual machine knitters. need to understand this as well.. . You are probably all familiar with your A,. B, C, D, or F positions of your needles.. . Again, picture those needlebutts traveling. . through a channel in that carriage.. . If those needlebutts are not in the right. position, nothing's going to happen.. . For example, like I said,. if your needles are all the way back. . in the A position,. then nothing's going to happen.. . The needles are not going to work at all.. . If the needles are all the way out. in the D position and you have your. . machine set to hold, again,. stitches are not going to knit.. . If the needles are going to be somewhere. in between there and you have your. . carriage instructed correctly,. it's either going to slip or tuck. . or knit the color that you want.. . So needle positions are very,. very important If you haven't identified. . the needle positions. on your machine, please do.. . And I try not to use the letters because. number one, all the machines are a little. . bit different, and I get them mixed up all. the time, A, B, D, E,. . sometimes F, whatever.. . Whatever, it's more important that you. understand that it's working position,. . non-working position, middle position,. out-of-work position, or hold position.. . So the third thing is, so you've given. the machine some instructions,. . and you've given it its little blueprint,. and you've said, Here's all. . the electronics on/offs.. . This is what I want you to do.. . I want you to.... . You've told it you want. a knit and pattern.. . Here's your instructions.. . I understand that the needle. positions are important.. . The third thing is the carriage settings.. . Now is the time when you say what. type of pattern you want to knit.. . So on a Brother machine,. you're going to use Use the CAM buttons.. . Those are the little buttons in the front.. . Part, which I hate that word, but part,. slip, whatever those little buttons are,. . and then the holding CAM lever as well.. . So now you've got your machine.. . It understands that you've. given it some instruction.. . You've told it that you. want to knit in pattern.. . You woke it up,. you want to knit in pattern.. . Now you're saying,. I want to knit in ferrile.. . On Singer Silver machines,. you've got your little CAM lever,. . that's the one in the middle,. and it's got a little slider that you. . might be using knit in,. which would be Fair-Ail.. . There's that terminology again, right?. . Or tuck, or maybe even intarsia.. . If you have built-in intarsia on your. machine, you just sit your cam lever. . and it will use the intarja setting.. . And your Russell levers you would use. for hold position, partial knitting,. . short rows.. . So keep in mind that the instructions that. you send to your machine, it's not smart.. . Honest to goodness,. your machine is not smart.. . It's not AI-operated.. . It's black, white, on,. off, hole, or no hole.. . It's very, very digital.. . It's very binary.. . You can design a stitch pattern with red,. white, and blue. . colors, but your machine really isn't. smart enough to interpret what those. . colors are unless you give it. some additional instruction.. . If you're knitting in ferrile,. for example,. . you would tell it which needles are going. to be knit in which color, not necessarily. . which color, but in color A or color B.. . Again, it's very, very, very binary.. . So remember that we're giving it. instruction on/off, no hole,. . one, two, and again, on, off.. . So it's not particularly. smart in that way.. . So in conclusion, What do you. need to do for your machine?. . Get out your manual and try. the different stitch patterns.. . All the manuals are very detailed as far. as the different stitch. . patterns are concerned.. . As far as ferrile, tuck,. get familiar familiar with those. . different terminologies.. . Again, check our glossary for an. explanation of the different terms.. . Check the learning library.. . We've got classrooms for each one. of the different types of techniques as. . far as ferrile, tuck,. slip, lace, whatever.. . So check our classrooms.. . Practice builds your. skills and your confidence.. . Get out your manual and write down,. figure out, take it step by step by step.. . One of our knitters recently said that she. wanted to try out all of the stitch. . patterns that she saw. in the Stitch World book.. . Well, more power to her.. . However, even if she does a half a dozen. of each one of the techniques,. . she's going to be that much further ahead. as far as Stitch Patterning. . and her skills and experience.. . My suggestion is, let's see what I've got. on this next screen here, is knititnow.. . Com/reference.. . We've got downloadable reference. cards that you can print.. . Here Here is one right here.. . Let me get back on camera here.. . These reference cards just have a little. diagram, and these are based on Brothers,. . Silver Reed, Titaxma.. . You've got all of the. different choices there.. . And it's got a little diagram that you can. take a marker, a magic marker, or a pen,. . or a pencil, or whatever, and circle.. . This is what I do to set. my machine for tuck.. . So I don't want you getting out your. manual every time you decide. . to do something new, right?. . If you've tried your stitch patterns,. if you practice a little bit with each one. . of the techniques, write it down,. what you do for your machine.. . That way, you don't have to get. that manual out and go through. . all that translated Japanese.. . These cards are for.... . This would be for a main bed.. . We do have the cards also included,. our ribber and main bed, so that you. . can actually document what you're doing.. . Take these and print them off. on card stock, if you would.. . Write them up, mark them up,. and keep them by your machine.. . Laminate them if you want.. . Keep them handy so that you don't have. to pull out your manual every. . time or rely on your memory.. . One of the things that I always tell. people is if you're using multiple. . machines, especially if you're switching. between brands, you're switching between. . Silver Reed and Brother, for example,. it can get really confusing I think you've. . probably seen my carriages where I've. actually taken a magic marker and marked H. . on the carriage, especially for the Silver. Reed machines, because I'm a Brother girl.. . And I forget that those Russell. lovers are what are used for hold.. . So when I go to work with the machine,. sometimes it's like,. . I just want to hold these stitches,. and I can't remember how I've got H. . literally written on the carriage.. . I don't want you to go to that extreme.. . It would be better to have a little. reference card so that I remember, okay,. . the Russell lever, the thing on the front. needs to be in one position. . in order to hold those stitches.. . And practice that, understand that,. and keep that in mind.. . Jennifer, yes, we will have some.... . We can have some time for Q&A.. . Elaine says, I love these cards and Tuck,. I tape them to my notebook. . with each project.. . Absolutely great,. especially if you're working, say,. . in color or you're doing some. Some ferrile work.. . I can never remember,. is it the A-feeder or the B-feeder?. . I've got red and black.. . Do I want red in the A-feeder. or the B-feeder?. . And if you write it down,. what you did the time before,. . you won't have to go back and do. a different swatch every time.. . So Marjorie, thanks for the suggestion. about putting my mic. . up a little bit closer.. Thank you.. . And Elna, The replay?. . Yes, the replay will be available for you.. . It'll be here on this same page.. Just go to knititnow.. . Com/live.. . All righty.. So it wasn't you, it was me on the volume.. . Sorry.. . We've got Marthie from South Africa.. . Oh, my gosh, we've got people. from all over the world.. . Thank you so much for being here.. . Amber is also in California.. . We're having some beautiful weather.. . All righty, so where were we?. . Let me go back to my outline here.. . So our reference cards, knititnow.. . Com/reference, and you can. just print those babies off.. . We do have an entire course on automatic. stitch patterns, and I go into these three. . steps in a little bit more detail,. in a lot more detail, actually.. . So if you have an opportunity,. you might want to poke into the classroom,. . the course, Automatic Stitch And again,. I mentioned I can go to the desktop.. . I mentioned that we do have classrooms.. . I counted them up the other day and I've. forgotten what the number was,. . but we've got a ton of classrooms.. . Our classrooms are a collection of. content from the site on specific topics.. . So for example, if you're interested. in Tuck, we have a Tuck Talk classroom.. . It has patterns using Tuck.. . It has quick wins It has one. of the courses that talks specifically. . about Tuck, a bunch of Tuck examples,. some skills that you need.. . Anything having to do with Tuck.. . We did a live on Tuck, as a matter. of fact, so that replay is there.. . We can talk about tuck lace.. . So classrooms are a collection of even. blog posts I throw in the classroom,. . so anything about a specific topic.. . If you're searching for things. at that now, I always suggest that's. . a great place to start. is in the Classrooms listing.. . And I'm sure that you're going. to find what you want there.. . Instead of going to the Learning Library. for each one of the Learning Library.. . And I mean, that's organized pretty well,. but there's over videos now. . in the Learning Library,. so it can get to be a little bit much.. . I'm easier to understand than a manual.. Well, thank you.. . That's a compliment.. . Somewhere, once upon a time,. someone told me that the manuals were. . written originally in French,. and then they were written.... . Excuse me.. . They were written in Japanese,. translated to French,. . and then translated to English,. which to me makes sense as to why. . they're so hard to understand.. . But it's much easier if you've got some. references and you don't have all those. . abbreviations and all the craziness. that comes with our manuals.. . So Automatic Stitch Patterning course,. and we got a big thank you for being here.. . Now, someone asked about something,. talk about membership options. . and available classes.. . Jennifer Let me go to our to knititnow.. . Our membership, knititnow.. . Com/plans.. . There it is.. . We do have memberships.. . We do have two levels of membership,. a basic membership, which includes all of. . our patterns, all of our learning library.. . And this says .. . That needs to be updated.. . It's close to now.. . All of our dynamic patterns are included.. . All of the charting tools,. the glossary, the knit Club,. . everything is available there.. . That is our basic membership.. . Our premium membership includes all. of that, plus. . the interactive skill builders, which. we're still creating new skill builders.. . I'm in the middle of one right now.. . We'll have a new skill builder next week.. . Our make and master guides,. and all of our courses.. . So if you go to Knit It Now,. you'll see we do have our courses here.. . I think there's.... . Again, I counted these the other day.. I I can't remember.. . There's over courses.. . Again, very, very topic-specific. and in detail for either making. . an item or on a specific topic.. . So a premium membership includes. the courses and everything else.. . I hope that answers your question.. . Do you need a color changer in order. to knit fair-isle or can. . hand-fit the new color?. . No, you do not If you need a color. changer, especially for fair-isle,. . because with fair-isle on most machines,. and I'm not talking LK here,. . I'm talking about most metal bed machines,. you have two yarn feeders and you. . can get two colors at a time.. . And all you do is pass the carriage once,. both colors will knit.. . The time you would need a color changer is. if you were knitting,. . what, two rows, red and white,. two rows, red and blue,. . two rows, green and red, right?. . And you're going to be. changing your colors a lot.. . A color changer would. really come in handy.. . I've done multi-color slip and multi-color. tuck without a color changer.. . If I'm just demonstrating those two. techniques, I don't want to be bothered. . with a color changer, honestly.. . I've just not had a whole. lot of success with them.. . And I will manually just take. the yarn out and switch the colors.. . So definitely.. . Now, if you're going to be doing something. like double bedchicard,. . that's another story and really would. drive you crazy manually. . changing your colors.. . But for Farah, I'll know you. do not need a color changer.. . Yeah, Maury,. double bedch a card definitely. . would need a color changer for that.. . Just because there's a lot going on,. double bedch a card is basically. . multi-color slip stitch. or tuck, if you'd prefer.. . So you're going to be changing colors. and you've got some needles in work.. . So it's really It's really no. different than multi-color slip.. . The only difference is double bedchicard. has some ribbon needles in work to hide. . all those floats and close them.. . Anything else?. . Let me see.. . What else have we got going on?. . Anything else that I can help?. . The color changes are hard to find.. . Is that what you're telling Silvana?. . She has a .. . If you're looking for anything,. don't forget, we do have our marketplace. . put in an ISO for whatever. it is you're looking for.. . And maybe you've got somebody who's. looking for a home for something. . that they've got that's just. gathering dust you could put to work.. . So the listings in our. marketplace are free.. . Marketplace can be found down at the very. bottom here is one place,. . Marketplace here.. . And you can just enter in something. that I'm in search of a color changer.. . I've not been doing. virtual meetups, Jennifer.. . As far as doing live virtual meetups,. we'll be doing a live next week for our. . All Access Pass members. for Learn Design in It.. . But in the past, I've not done too many.. . It's something I've been thinking. about doing for the fall.. . I just have not hit on a format that I'm. . comfortable with and that is useful.. . I've I've found in the past that I've. organized something,. . and we've had very few people show. up or just very little participation.. . So it got disappointing for me.. . So if you have some suggestions, Jennifer,. of what you would like,. . please let me know.. . And if we can get enough people. interested, I'm happy to host something. . that we can meet up virtually.. . Amber It says, I love how this network is. a one-stop shop for all. . things machine knitting.. . I just have to work up the nerve to dive. in and really learn my Brother .. . It's a beautiful machine.. . It's just got all the bells. and whistles for you.. . There's no reason to be. overwhelmed with it.. . Just take it step by step.. . Walk through the success path. with that machine, and you'll do fine.. . Designinit next week.. . Designinit is This is a bonus for our. All Access Pass from LearnDesigninit.. . Let me go.... I'm on my desktop.. . Let me go to my desktop.. There we go.. . Let's go to LearnDec.. . So it's going to be next Tuesday at 1:. PM Eastern Time, which is my : .. . And I'm asking that the members who are. All Access Pass members submit questions.. . We got quite a few questions this time.. . I'm really We're excited about this one.. . We got some really hard ones, too,. but we got some that will. . be useful for everybody.. . Your questions, we'll try. and answer them in the live.. . We're doing it as a Zoom meeting,. and we're doing those monthly,. . the second Tuesday of the month. for All Access Pass members.. . All Access Pass members do have access. to all of our courses at LearnDesigninit,. . very, very specific two Design a Knit,. as well as our weekly quick wins.. . Our weekly quick wins are.... . I'm learning that knitters. and people in general,. . self-paced courses are. difficult for people anymore.. . It's just hard to dedicate that time.. . So what we're trying to do is these. quick wins or -minute quick wins.. . And I'm trying to incorporate this. at Knitted Now as well a little bit more.. . And give me your feedback if you'd like.. . If I can give you a -minute challenge.. . Let's say your question is,. how do I hang a hem?. . I can tell you, define what hanging a hem. is, and then give you. . a quick minute exercise.. . Cast on X number of stitches,. knit X number of rows,. . pick up and hang your hem and see what. happens, and then suggestions. . for making it look even better.. . So this is something I'm. trying to incorporate.. . We've got it here on learn, design,. and it side,. . and we're trying to incorporate it. on the knit It Now side as well.. . Quick, fast, to the point.. . I'm not going to ask you to sit. through a minute video.. . We're going to try and get it quick. and use animated gifs and me pointing it. . something or whatever it is. to make it really fast for you.. . So if you have any suggestions or topics. that you'd like me to see covered. . that way, please let me know.. . The meeting is recorded, yes,. for the Learn Design and It is recorded.. . So, Amber, you said about your 9: .. Let me know.. . I've not used a 9: ,. but It's so similar to some. . of the other Brother machines.. . You get stuck, let me know.. . I'm available to help.. . And also, don't forget. about the community.. . We do have our community at Knit It Now.. . For the Knit Club here.. . Sorry.. . The platform we use is called Heartbeat,. and And let me see if I can. . get logged into Heartbeat.. . It's a typical community where we can. . talk about things, we can post questions,. . answer Answers, whatever, reply.. . And I really, really hope that.... And this is free.. . This is not member-only.. This is free.. . Everybody's welcome.. . Post things here because I'm not. always available to answer questions.. . And I know you probably. want an answer quickly.. . There's a lot of folks here who are very. generous with their time and will answer. . questions for you and make suggestions. and comment on things that you're doing.. . Her Silver Read 8: intimidates me.. . It's another one of those fabulous,. fabulous machines with all. . the bells and whistles.. . But with all that power and with all. that functionality comes a learning curve,. . and it's nonstop.. . And with that machine,. you're throwing design it in there, too.. . So you've got two levels of learning curve. to use that machine with stitch paterning.. . It can be a little bit overwhelming.. . And we've been working together. pretty well on that one.. . Okay, one last new thing. that I want to bring up.. . I want to remind you that we have a map. . of clubs, Machine Knitting Clubs map.. . You can see it from the very bottom there.. . You can also see it from the main menu,. Net Club, and Local Clubs. . and groups right here.. . And use this Control scroll.. Here we go.. . And it is worldwide, and we have. listing of clubs in various areas.. . So for an example, this part of the world,. there's a couple of groups here that you. . can catch up with, and they tell you where. they're meeting,. . and and who you can contact.. . Today, I was talking to a knitter who. was telling me about an event. . that they were having.. They were having a live in-person event.. . Oh, my gosh.. . What a concept, an in-person event. with real people and not just virtual.. . If you have something coming up with your. group or you know of something in your. . area that's coming up,.
