Carolina C Hello, Carolina from Nairn Scotland |
Elizabeth W hood? |
Phyllis K D Doll clothing is great for stitch guages instead of swatching. Put the sweater, (etc.) on the doll, take it off and on several times, maybe hand it to a child to play with, then remove and launder it and voila! You have a more real-life stitch gauge for how your project will wear on you. |
Emily S fringe is groovy... my kids in their 20's love the retro look! |
Karyn B great idea sue |
Nancy M When the yarn companies designed patterns they used a lot of fringe which eats up yarn like crazy |
Barbara P Going back to your curved hem lessons, could we curve the center front and back points so they are not so long. |
