his month we are celebrating our 12th Anniversary!It all started with yarn. Sue was selling closeout yarn online and creating patterns for the yarns.
It became quickly obvious that writing patterns for yarns that were no longer available made no sense. A pattern written for a specific gauge has a short lifespan. ?
Partnering with a non-knitter, programmer and co-worker, Matthew, Knit it Now Dynamic patterns were born. "It's just math" was the mantra!
Soon we realized that not all knitters understood the terminology used in machine knitting patterns. For example, what does "hang a hem" mean? Adding video to the patterns was the next logical step in creating the Learning Library. Today there are over 550 videos available.
Knit it Now has grown! The site we have today has come a long way in 12 years! Stay tuned for more!
Out sincere goal is to "Help you be a better machine knitter". Keeping machine knitting alive is our passion!
