I used the scalloped hem on a new project on the bottom as well as the sleeves...I would like to use it around the scoop neck as well......is it possible and what are my challenges? I assume I would tighted the tension but by how much.  I have an LK150 if that matters.  The calop was super easy and turned out wonderful.
Oh btw I'm a new member and love love love this site!

Hi Patti!
Welcome to our little group! ðŸ˜Š

A scalloped band would be pretty for your sweater.

This video should help.

You knit the band separately then join it to the sweater. (I recommend experimenting on your swatch)

You'll want to "grade" the tension so it lays flat and doesn't flare out.

another thing to consider are the stitch multiples, so your seam will match...

Can't wait to see your sweater!

Thanks
I just saw this post so I just punted....
I just picked up the stiches apund the neck and did the scallop....I graded the tension by 1 whole # on the "knit all" row did the turning row and then grades back up to the sweater tension and then picked up the stickes to close the band and then bound off.  It worked really well.
