After doing the Rib along 1 I think flat rib is the answer I am looking for the bottom of jumpers as I like the look of rib but don’t want it pulled in.  I have done full needle rib on my standard but it will only work with very thin yarn and the carriage struggles to move with this set up, 4ply is too thick.  Therefore as I only have double beds on my standard and chunky brother machines what is the maximum thickness of yarn you can use on each machine for flat rib.
