How do you get the colors changer to work correctly. when you start on the left the tuck isn't correct.

I can't see it should make any difference to the Tuck which side you start from, as long as you have the right buttons or levers selected.  If, for example, your pattern says to depress the Left Tuck button and start knitting with the carriage on the right, you need to reverse this to depress the Right Tuck button if you are starting with the carriage on the Left.

Pat, I agree with Jenny. Please let us know what machine you are using and what steps you are taking ... maybe "talking it out" will help.
