Hello Knit it Now.  I have a brother 965i with DAK8 software and I am trying to knit a tuck pattern.  It makes a mess.  I watched the Knit it Now video explaining tuck stitch basics an how reversing the pattern can help it knit properly.  Is there a way to do that in DAK8?  I can't seem to find it.  Thanks for any advice!

Oh it was stitch #223 from the brother stitch world book.  And I think I posted this in the wrong category... oops.  🙂

Hi Dawn!
I opened #223 from Stitch World 3 ... I hope this is the one you are looking at.

There are 2 solutions:

To reverse the needle selection in DAK:
  1. Open the Yarn and Stitch Symbols palettes

2. Then click on the small needle at the bottom of the black or blue box - you can toggle the needle selection on and off.

3. Download it in the opposite position as what you currently are using and you should be good to go.

Here's a little video that may help

You should also be able to use the variation Key and the "reverse" variation to use the pattern that's already in your machine

Page 31 of your manual talks about variation keys
