I have brother knitting machine bulky and ribber. it is not electronic any way I wanted no if you can use punch card with your ribber .

You can create lovely fabric by using a punchcard and the ribber, but you need to remember that the punchcard only selects the main bed needles for patterning.  I am not familiar with bulky machines, but I'm sure you Operating Manual will give you examples for some of the patterns you can create.   I would imagine that you would only want to use the finest yarn suitable for the bulky machine, as double-bed fabric is going to be very thick.

With a patterning system such as punchcards or electronics and a ribber you can create Double Jacquard, which is like Fair Isle but the floats are enclosed by a backing layer made by the ribber.  You must have specially punched cards for creating Jacquard, you cannot use the ordinary FI cards.
