I've known about the "Broken Toe" cast-on since way back, but I don't think I'd ever tried it.  Then a few days ago I watched Sue's video and thought I'd do a couple of little swatches to compare the methods.  Wow!  I think the photo tells it all - Broken Toe on the left (and that's without steaming at all) and standard method on the right.

Once again, Knit It Now rocks!
