Hello, everyone!  I'm trying to knit Niagara Duster but having a trouble understanding alteration sheet and I would appreciate your help. 

I want to make the duster 4" shorter.  Worksheet says when you're working on your lower bodice, you're to follow your pattern ending on pattern BO row MINUS number of rows you want to shorten.   I thought you have to deduct twice of that number.  In my case I have to make lower bodice 8" shorter (4" from each end) to match the front.

Hi Yumi!

I'm sorry if the instructions aren't clear.  I'll take a look at making this "Perfect Fit" to make it easier

In the meantime, picture this:
You want to shorten the fronts and the lower bodice by the same amount (the grey boxes in this drawing)
