I was on Facebook and someone posted that she uses the 150 carriage on the 100 bed in order to use the Russell levers. Has anyone tried this. I'm thinking ordering one.

I50, 140, 100 refer to the number of needles on the bed. I am using a 150 carriage on the LK 140. so your carriage should work.

I have used my LK 150 carriage on my LK 100. It works, no issues. However, to use your LK 150 carriage on either the LK 150 or LK 100, you need to run your yarn through the yarn mast before it goes through the carriage. To do this on the LK 100, (since it has no yarn mast attached to the knitting machine) you set up your LK 150 behind the LK 100 on a table, no need to clamp and turn it around so the yarn mast that attaches to the LK 150 is next to the back of the LK100. You then reverse the yarn mast in the LK 150 so it is correctly aligned with the LK 100 and then thread up the mast and then pass through the LK 150 carriage. Use the higher tension settings on the LK 150 carriage as you would if you were trying to know heavier yarns on the LK 150.
Very simple to do, although the explanation sounds complicated.
