This is a question. I would like to no how do they put garter stitch to make animal design on baby blanket .

Delia, most like the designs were done with a garter carriage. It’s a carriage Brother designed to form random knit and purl stitches in a row. Google search Brother Garter Carriage to see what they look like. You can still find them.

1. You could hand manipulate the stitches to form purl bumps on the knit side.

I have g carriage the  stitches are to small. Is there video to show how to do design and single garter stitches.

Do you use DesignaKnit?  that would be the best way to create the stitch pattern.

You could also draw out the design you want with to-scale graph paper, then input it into your machine.

Remember, you'll need to use knitters graph paper for accuracy.  Graph paper drawn in square won't work because knit stitches aren't square.
