Hi Sue and fellow KnititNow-knitters,

Is there a method to 'calculate' what row of the stitchpattern to begin, so you end up with a sleeve and front of the rose cardigan that have a matching stitchpattern.

I have a stitchpattern of 20 rows, there is a very distinctive 3 row of purl, I would like to match my sleeve that when I seam everything together the 3 purl rows run over the front of the cardigan AND the sleeve, like there is no seam.

I don't now how to discribe it in English. Hope you understand what I mean....
I don't have DAK so that is no option.

This is my stitchpattern: 10 stitches by 20 rows

Kind regards, Marja

PS I finished the back and the 2 fronts of the Rose cardigan 😊

If you plan to start the sleeve pattern on the same row as the armhole shaping, the pattern should match.

Thanks Sue, I'm going to recalculate and see if I've done it right.
