Has anyone heard of this machine ....  Maruyama model MK-70?

Fellow knitter, @Kim Kelley adopted one.

"Bought this one in pristine condition through Craigslist for $85. It belonged to her mother and she had it approximately 30+ years. It's like new and even came with a stitch selector carriage. Very cool.
Not much of anything was found online except for another Maruyama model 30."

Does this look familiar?

I'm not familiar with Knitmaster/Singer/Studio machines, so the picture means nothing to me, but I very much suspect this is a Knitmaster/Singer/Studio MK-70 marketed under yet another name.

Thanks, Jenny,
According to the database, the Studio MK-70 is a 6mm  "convertable",  fold up machine

The Maruyama looks like a metal bed - 4.5mm??? Its a mystery machine!  ðŸ˜ƒ

Have now seen a very old advert for a machine by Maruyama in which it i
was suggested it was an early Brother brand.  Made in Japan, apparently.
