I download my personal pattern for the Big Hug.
I have just completed the back. It is way to long BUT.............

 

My gauge for 4" is 30 rows.

The completed sweater is supposed to measure 14.5" with 2" of rib.
My pattern says to start shoulder shaping at row 202

202 rows divided by my 30 rows is 6.7*4" is 26.8 inches not 14.5 inches
My knitted piece matches my math above. Where have I gone wrong.
My guage showing on  the pattern is correct

It's ok.....its me. I read it as the total length was 14.5 but that is to the armhole shaping.
