Archive of Thread: Newbie to LK 150 - Trying to knit Poncho pattern for a Plus Size Back

I am a newbie on the LK150. I generated the poncho pattern after doing my swatch. However, since I’m a Plus Size there is no way this will fit me �. Please help! How do I properly alter the stitch pattern requirements for my size?

Hi Linda!
The poncho is basically 2 rectangles ... will you email me privately (sue@knititnow.com) the dimensions you need?

We can use our Rectangle/square tool to calculate what you need.

What is your gauge?

LInda and I have been working to establish the perfect size for her.  
I asked her to take a loop of yarn and measure as in this drawing.  

Then we worked out the finished poncho size.  

Matt is working on adding this dimension to the pattern to make it easier to choose a size to knit.  Stay tuned!
