Archive of Thread: Studio 840 and KR-7 Knit Leader Back

I mounted my KR-7 knit leader for the first time tonight on my Studio 840 electronic.  The Studio 840 electronic has a built-in row counter, so no physical stems are poking out of the back of the carriage to trip the radar’s row counter.  I was told that the KR-7 knit leader would work with this machine.  I mounted my KR-7 on it OK.  But I’m assuming I need an electronic row counter or some other gadget to trip the radar’s row counter???  How else do I get the radar’s row counter lever to trip?  Any help would be much appreciated.
