The MK world is losing potential new knitters because of our needlebed limitations and current knitters are frustrated.  Do you have tips for Plus Size Knitting?

I have a size 46 and I know how to calculate my own patterns but I am lazy and prefer the perfect dynamic patterns of Knititnow.  I have some books about modulair handknitting and it is so easy to convert to machine knitting. So I would suggest: knit modulair and use the vertical lines as designer details for a slimming effect with for example a nice cable. Handknitting for a plus size is rather time-consuming so for me machine knitting is despite the needle bed limitations the winner !.
