Rejilla Shawl - Inspiration

Rejilla Shawl

Through the Eyes of a Machine Knitter

Rejilla—the Spanish word for “grids”—perfectly describes the lace pattern used for this shawl, an easy triangular piece that adds the right amount of visual interest to any outfit.

The hand knit version of Rejilla is knit flat, back and forth in rows from the top down, with a wide band of lace patterning in the middle. The edging features a delicate eyelet row and a feminine Picot Bind Off. The simple lace pattern is charted.

As a machine knitter, you can use the hand knitting pattern as inspiration and use the Knit it Now Triangle Collection to design the triangle orientation and accommodate our needlebed limitations to make the shawl your desired size.
