The original is knit in one piece from the hem to the armholes, but for seamless version on the machine, consider knitting it sideways.
If you need more needles than you have on your machine, sideways knitting is just the ticket!

The textured stitch pattern could be copied with a simple tuck stitch.

How about that deep round neckline? PLUS notice the wide neckband that keeps things in proportion.
