Trying out my new to me Knitmaster MK70 mid gauge fold up machine.
I didn't knit a set in sleeve, just knitted 5 inches length.
Knitted sleeve rib and neckband on standard gauge machine with ribber
Mistakes: not enough rows from underarm to top of sleeve, and rib on sleeve too tight, so it pulls the shoulders down. Hoping it will 'give' a bit after wearing.
Knitted with alpaca/wool/polyamide yarn.
Was going to add ribbed hem, then decided to add a double knitted hem instead.
Neck feels too wide because the tight sleeve pulls it down.
It's all a learning curve though... Perhaps I'll stick to knitting socks and small items on this machine, which we bought to take when we go away as it is portable, and use my standard and chunky at home as the carriage is quite stiff to push compared with the others. - good arm/shoulder and stomach workout though, which won't do me any harm ?? ??
