These yams are produced from our own flock of Superfine Merino sheep. Merino Wool is considered the finest wool in the world. The combination of fiber density, stable length, and character of the fleece make Merino Wool the most sought after of all wool. Starting with the finest wool, we insure that it is processed in a way to enhance the quality of the finished yam to you. No chemicals are used to clean or treat our wool. Our Merino Wool is pure, the way it grows on the sheep. The wool is not carbonized, so it maintains its soft touch. Our colors are achieved by combining varying percentages of black and white wool.
