If you used a tughter tension for the faux ribbing for a hem, would that be better? Better than rhe tension that normally would be used?
Cindy Minota
The faux ribbing would be great for the longer sweaters where I don't want it to hug (or pull in) for my bottom. I can see this as a perfect technique for sweater hems!
Karyn B
Love the faux ribbing!
Richard B
You're most welcome, Karyn
Nancy M
tucking with color would be a great topic.
Barbara W
Color uck is it possible with a manual machine?
Karyn B
Thanks Richard B!
Richard B
Karyn B - eBay, Geek or AlliExpress - search and you'll find the blank cards for sale. eBay for the punch machine.
Cynthia from New York State
What happens with the tuck pattern when short rowing, or just increasing and decreasing stitches for armhole shaping?
Karyn B
Where do you get prepunched cards or unpunched card material and the appropriate puncher to make your own?
Marie-Jo C
Doesn't lace need another carriage ?
Nina L
color tuck ... yes please
Cindy T
does tuck help with correcting the bias? I have some nice single ply but it knits up with bias in stockinette
Barbara W

Dee Z.

Dee Z.
Rule of thumb for tuck... if using tuck add 30% or 1/3 more rows to get same length as stockinette

I made a sweater from the Butterfly tuck about 30 years ago on my bulky knitting. It was one of my favorites for several years.
Nancy M
done is stripes the tuck makes great pattern.
Cynthia from New York State
So, this butterfly tuck does not have as much tuck, so would not add as much width, right?
Betty E J
with the time change this weekend when will the show be shown since arizonia does not change time?
Barbara W

Cindy Minota
The tuck one row, knit one row gives the look of Fisherman's Rib.
