Cynthia from New York State If you used a tughter tension for the faux ribbing for a hem, would that be better? Better than rhe tension that normally would be used? |
Cindy Minota The faux ribbing would be great for the longer sweaters where I don't want it to hug (or pull in) for my bottom. I can see this as a perfect technique for sweater hems! |
Karyn B Love the faux ribbing! |
Richard B You're most welcome, Karyn |
Nancy M tucking with color would be a great topic. |
Barbara W Color uck is it possible with a manual machine? |

Dee Z. just a rough rule of thumb |
Dee Z. Rule of thumb for tuck... if using tuck add 30% or 1/3 more rows to get same length as stockinette |
Cindy T Cynthia from Indiana |
Nancy R I made a sweater from the Butterfly tuck about 30 years ago on my bulky knitting. It was one of my favorites for several years. |
Nancy M done is stripes the tuck makes great pattern. |
