Universal Gauge

Build a Knit it Now Pattern with a single gauge. "Universal" for all pieces

For Knit it Now patterns that allow a single gauge, "Universal Gauge" is applied to all pieces.

Other patterns allow
Mix 'n Match gauge.
For example, knitting the sleeves of a sweater in lace (at one gauge) and the body in stockinette (a different gauge).

The Pattern Engine uses YOUR gauge (Universal or Mix 'n Match) to calculate your garment shaping and creat knitting instructions.
NOTE: If Mix 'n Match is not available for your pattern, consider building your pattern twice. In the sleeve example, build the pattern at the lace gauge, and build the pattern at the stockinette gauge. Then use the knitting instructions for each piece based on it's gauge.
