Ebba R From Where |
Nancy M just realized the time!! finishing putting on a leg band |
Ginny B Hi, Ebba. My maternal grandmother was100% Swedish? |
Marie-Jo C When knitting with a single bed machine, it is much better to use a double bed cast on comb ! I found this tip on the KIN site and use it again and again !! |
Ebba R Hej!from Sweden |
Ginny B Hmmm. How did my post change to right-justified? |
Matthew Friedman I put it away will bring it back out at the end again |
Maryann B 97394 |
Ginny B Uh Oh. The map was showing below you. In the process of trying to move it to show the U.S., the entire map disappeared. How do I get it back? |
Dawn W One more in SW Ohio... |
Annie L where do I put my zip code? |
Faris R Still having a problem with using my Brother KH 260 main bed and ribber with a punch card. I think it is in the settings? Just trying to knit a scarf for grand daughter. Can I contact you later? |
Carol D THe page doesn't include the lace cards. It's a Brother 830 machine. |
Marie-Jo C Thank you for the map, Matt |
Dot B Hi, I knitted a really colourful mile a minute hat for my grandaughter but it fits me! I couldn't find my notes as to which size I knitted so I'll just have to make a guess and try again! Lesson learned - write it down! |
Matthew Friedman Map? |
Carol D My machine is a Brother 830. |
Cindy Minota Practice is the best instructor-you will get used to all of the new manipulations your hand needs to learn; the only way you can do this is to machine knit daily! |
Carol D I've been knitting lace scarves since our lace KAL. I found I'm missing the D25 lace punchcard from the original set. Does anyone know where I can find the schematic to punch a new card in that design? |
Mary K Don't forget edge weights |
Dayana K I crawl behind my work all the time  |
June R Silly question. I have a little difficulty putting on the cast on comb on my knitting and caching the stitches, on my LK150 |
Alicia S THank you for your help, I will email you. :) :) |
Annie L Does her yarn bounce back? |
Marvel D plain |
Jane K Many manuals are available for free on line |
Cynthia P everything i touch on the km lately i mess up and i am waiting to do better. |
Dayana K I even use my ribber claw weights (the ones with a hole in the bottom for a weight) on the edges if I have to |
Dayana K Jane, I always make sure I have lots of weight on the edges |
Carol D I have always found the edge stitches need extra weight as you knit along. |
Alicia S Jane, that was happening to me when I wasn't going past the last and first needles far enough. |
Marvel D yes i agree Jane |
Jane K My frustrations as a new machine knitter: the first and last stitches fairly often do not knit. As a long time hand knitter who now has arthritis, it seems strange to see the back of the work |
Marvel D i have a used vintage brother profile 550 and i am having trouble with tension and eveverything no manual |
Alicia S I have an SK 360 and I am having trouble with basic operation. The manual doesn't seem to be very helpful. |
Carol D Hi from the Catskill Mountains of NY. It's a nice sunny day! |
Arlene T Good Morning Arlene from Goodyear |
Marie-Jo C I wonder why my pullovers fit when they are just knitted but become much wider after a couple of months ... |
Marvel D i am having trouble with using 60 needles for swatches and the end ones fall off |
Dayana K December! |
Cindy Minota I agree, Dayana, I learned several new techniques and have some confidence which I lacked previously! |
Jane K fairly often the first and or last stitch do not knit |
Sharon S if you only have a standard machine, you can use thicker yarns with a looser tension or every other needle. |
Cynthia P i lost the feed |
Dayana K yahoo |
Dayana K I used the blanket to learn THREE new techniques! |
Lauren B Lauren from Lolo Montana. |

Alicia S Thank you! :) I really would like to know what videos to do first. |
Cynthia P Alicia don't give up, please |
