The yarn was purchased while visiting Montreal for Knit City 2023. A beautiful merino and hemp blend, called Granola, hand dyed in a beautiful silver grey colourway, by Louise Roberts. I purchased two accent colours, to have on hand as I knew I wanted to make a summer weight sweater and might need some accent colours. I was looking for a fabric with softness and some drape, but something that was also sturdy and would hold its shape. I swatched a lot and ended up using a stitch size 3 on my LK-150. I used this Bateau boat neck pattern as well as the Boat Neck beauty template from Knit it Now. I added some lace detail to the sleeve and body bottom as well as a mosaic chain motif to the yoke and back. Feels like a t-shirt and I love the fit.
